Old Business

5.    Web Click-throughs – Some companies will pay a commission for purchases made by referrals from the website (e.g. Amazon, BookByte, Barnes & Noble, Scholastic Books, OfficeMax, Travelocity, etc.).  Should NNHS participate in these affiliate programs?  If so, should the type of company be restricted?  Carol explained the click-throughs.  Bethany asked if it would it jeopardize our tax exempt status.  Carol explained that as long as we don’t support one place and it has a variety of stuff to sell we will be okay.

a.Carol found a fund-raising place called schoolpop.com.  When members buy from merchants through their website, NNHS will get a rebate.  The board members will research schoolpop.com and take a vote on this at the next meeting.
