1. Call to order and approval of
agenda meeting called to order at 5:39pm and agenda approved.
2. Approve minutes of March 6,
2006 meeting Minutes approved

Williams Writing workshop is August 28th and 29th at
TMCC. We need to advertise for program
committee members and solicit more programs.
Old Business
5. NNHS
scholarships Shannon asked if NNHS would consider offering
scholarships, perhaps with requirements of being an NNHS member for at least 3
years, been homeschooled, and be a junior or senior. Deferred to next meeting and maybe not just a
money scholarship to camp scholarships.
6. Elections
Elections for board positions are scheduled for June. Positions coming up for re-election are:
Chair, Editor, and Director-at-large.
Are there any candidates? It
would be helpful if the named officers could create a draft of duties. No
candidates. We will look for someone ASAP
and the board will appoint a Director-at-large and Editor.
New Business
7. Electronic
newsletter The PDF file is fairly big and
some members are having trouble getting it via email. The postal count is down to 65, with about 20
comps. The email count is up to 117. Email isnt intended to carry files that
big. It should be posted on the website,
with a link delivered through email.
