About the Event
The 2024 NNHS Spelling Bee will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 beginning at 10:30 AM PT at the South Valleys Library located at 15650 Wedge Parkway, Reno, NV, 89511.
The Bee is open to homeschooled students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Participants must be under age 16.
Please register by providing the requested information by Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
Registration is $5 per student to offset the cost of registering with the Scripps National Spelling Bee and accessing their resources.
The Bee will last until the competition is complete. Whether the Bee will consist of individual grades or groupings of multiple grades will be determined based on the number and grade levels of registrants.
The Bee will be based on word lists provided by Scripps National Spelling Bee. Materials to help with preparing for the Bee will be provided to participants via email once a student registration is received.
