Homeschool Family Science Night

Join us for a Homeschool Family Science Night at UNR's Fleischmann Planetarium* on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 6 to 9 pm. Tickets are $2 per person.

This private event includes a telescope viewing session with an outreach astronomer, Exhibit Hall access with guided activity sheets, and planetarium shows. Shows geared toward pre-K through early elementary and elementary will be shown earlier in the evening, with shows geared toward middle and high school later in the event.

There is limited free permit parking is available in the West Stadium Parking Complex, level 3, just east of the planetarium. Park between designated Planetarium parking signs. If those spots are full, there is paid visitor parking on the top level of the West Stadium Parking Complex. The daily permit dispensers take cash and debit or credit cards. After 3:30 pm, parking is $4 for the West Stadium Parking Complex.

*Due to the State of Nevada's Mask Mandate, masks are required inside Fleischmann Planetarium regardless of vaccination status.
