Thank you for entrusting us with furthering your child’s skiing or snowboarding education! Your child’s safety is our top priority. With safety in mind, only employees and children in ski lessons are allowed in the Rosebud booting room and our teaching areas on hill. As part of our safety protocol, instructors have been trained and will determine appropriate class levels for the children in their classes. Moving a child into a class that may be a better fit will have to be approved by a Rosebud supervisor. Children must be six years old to ride the chairlifts during their lessons. Four and five-year olds will remain on the surface lifts throughout their lessons. Children ages six and over will be on a variety of lifts and terrain, including on the surface lifts. The beginner terrain is ideal for introducing new skills. Please have your child downstairs ready to be dropped off (ski pants on, jacket, gloves, eye protection, sunscreen and used the bathroom) 45 minutes prior to the first lesson and no later than 15 minutes prior to subsequent lessons. This allows our lessons to go out on time. Each lesson day requires the parent to check their child in at the Rosebud counter. Please allow time for this process in your planning. Please label your child’s equipment; jacket, gloves, goggles, helmet and skis. If your child brings anything extra, a backpack or water bottle, please label that as well to ensure all items are returned with your child. This is a four - week ski/snowboard program which includes: skis/snowboard, boots, helmet, a lift ticket for the day and a 2 ½ lesson. The cost is $320. The 2 ½ lesson includes approximately 2 hours of on snow instruction and time for water breaks, warm up breaks and time for some fun in the snow. Make up policy: make up lessons will not be offered unless Mt Rose has to reschedule a lesson day due to closure.
