About the Event
Join us as we celebrate "Not Going Back to School" on Monday, August 11th with our annual BYOP (bring your own picnic)!
We have the Washoe Pavilion at Bowers Mansion, beside the playground, reserved. There is plenty of shade and grass for blankets and camp chairs. As Washoe County Schools start the new year and other counties are getting ready, let's keep the outdoor, summer fun going! This event is FREE! All homeschoolers are welcome - new, continuing, long-time, returning - This is open to everyone! Spend time with your friends and make some new ones!
Come out, play some games, swap some curriculum, get info about local co-ops and homeschool groups, and visit the vendors.
If you represent a co-op or homeschool group, please bring a table if possible and info about your group so homeschoolers can learn more.
