Reno Air Races

IMPORTANT INFO for the day-of: 

1. Follow directions to the designated parking area at 14399 Mt Charleston St.

Get your wristbands 2. Collect your wristbands from Cassandra Donaldson in the parking area. We will enter in groups of 40-50 people at a time.

Enter the Main Gate 3. Walk up to the main entrance gate and take a right immediately after entering the gate...you will see our BIG registration tent.

4. Line up in front of the Registration Tent for a quick briefing before entering the STEM zone.

An event for the whole family, you won't want to miss it! You'll get to see airplanes racing in various classes, demonstrations, have a chance to tour military and other aircraft, and the STEM area will be open for us to explore and learn until 4pm. 

Check in starts at 8:45 and ends at 9:30.  As a school group, we are allowed to bring in lunches and strollers. There are plenty of food vendors at the races, so if you don't bring food, you can buy things there. Parking information will be given out closer to the event date. Tickets are required for everyone ages 5+. Normally, the cost is $10/child and $35/adults, and parking is normally $25/vehicle, so at just $3/person, this is an event you won't want to miss! 

We are also delighted to have FIRST Nevada as one of our sponsors this year. FIRST Nevada is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization promoting FIRST® Robotics programs and STEAM education initiatives in Nevada.  FIRST = For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. They are making it possible for our group to attend this year, so a huge thanks to them!
