Reno Air Races 2021

An event for the whole family, you won't want to miss it! You'll get to see airplanes racing in various classes, demonstrations, have a chance to tour military and other aircraft, and the STEM area will be open for us to explore and learn until 4pm. 

Check in starts at 8:45 and ends at 9:30, meet NNHS representatives up near the main gate.  As a school group, we are allowed to bring in lunches and strollers. There are plenty of food vendors at the races, so if you don't bring food, you can buy things there. Parking information will be given out closer to the event date. Tickets are required for everyone ages 5+. Normally, the cost is $10/child and $35/adults, and parking is normally $25/vehicle, so at just $1.75/person, this is an event you won't want to miss! 

Full Disclosure: NNHS charges an administrative fee for these tickets in order to ensure attendance and pay for our website and event reservation system. NNHS is a 501(c)3 organization run entirely by volunteers and charges no dues for membership or participation. The only operating fees we charge are small fees like this one for inexpensive events. Thank you for supporting our mission to encourage homeschoolers in Northern Nevada!

Please arrive between 8:45AM and 9:30 and meet NNHS representatives at the main entrance. The tickets that our website generates look official but you don't need those to get in, you need to pick up a wristband from us! You don't need to print out anything, we have a list of attendees. 

If you drive down Stead Blvd. and take the left fork onto Mt. Charleston, you should reach the main parking area and then be directed to lot 6 for free school group parking. If you are going to be a little late you can contact Cassandra at 775-762-2757. If you can't make it within the timeframe for checkin, please have a friend pick up your wristbands for you. If you no longer need your tickets, please post on the facebook group Homeschool in Nevada: Talk with NNHS and see if someone can use your tickets.
